Understanding Child Photography
Miami portrait photographer Anais Ganouna shows that there is more to her than being just your ordinary Miami photographer.

One thing I love doing is take photos of my nephew and nieces, not only because they are so cute, but the little quirks they do also brightens up my day. I did took a couple of Photography classes a few years back, but taking photos of kids is just as hard as taking action photos. This is why Miami portrait photographer Anais Ganouna’s talent on child photography simply amazes me.

Some people may think it was because she minored in Child Psychology in University of Miami in 2004 but I think it's more than just that. Although it is understandable for anyone who took up Child Psychology to understand kids and their behavior, it also takes a keen eye to capture that perfect moment that every kid possesses. Miami portrait photographer Anais Ganouna seems to do it flawlessly in every kid she photographs. Every film gets cuter after every session, driving her to be more creative on her next photo session.

Whether your kid is a newborn or a pre-schooler, trust that Anais can bring the best about your little one. We once asked this Miami photographer to take photos of our three very rowdy nephews and nieces. At first, I was unsure whether she would fail to deliver or can she calm them down during the shoot. It was surprising thought to see how she handled my nephews and nieces, in spite of them being all over the place during the entire shoot. It was through her that I realized that it is ok to let the kids move around as you shoot them because that's when you can capture memorable and exquisite photographs. Truly, Anais Ganouna is the best Miami portrait photographer I've seen so far.

Taking up Child Psychology may have helped Anais understand the kids more but producing fantastic photos of these rowdy kids are another story; because for a Miami portrait photographer like Anais Ganouna, expression through the art is an essential part of her daily life. In line with this, understanding the people you are taking photos of, especially kids, is important. Having an education background and a good quality camera is not just the basic needs, you also need to have true passion for what you do, so that like Anais Ganouna, you could help create moments you can treasure forever.

Family Photographer: Oh! How Time Flies
I was on my way home when I see old folks with their grandchildren taking random photographs. At first, I thought about how those folks had cope up with technology like digital point and shoot cameras but saw their smile and realized how beautiful they are. At that moment, I thought and hope they captured it expressively because time flies so fast and we will not have the opportunity to rewind events like that that are worth remembering.

As I sit around my room when I arrived home, I kept wondering about the folks and their grandchildren. All of a sudden, I found myself hovering around the corridor, where our family portraits are displayed. It still amazes me whenever I look at the portraits; it seems like it's only been yesterday. If only I could bring back the time, I should have thanked our family photographer for capturing that intimate moment with the whole family. Seeing those photos make those memories appear real in my mind. I can feel the joy as I look at the smiles from my own grandparents, my parents (who have been so healthy back then) and me, who is still so small and cheerful then. Now, as I look back, I realized that that's when I appreciate the beauty of photography.

The goodness of having a portrait is that it captures each moment depending on your mood. The closer, the more I could sense the emotion of the subject. I noticed that while browsing the old photographs in our [family] antique photo album. Then I realized I should start compiling portraits from the family yearly or even monthly if I had the time. As a person who discovers an obsession for details, I need more than just a camera phone or point and shoot digital cameras won't work well with my preferences. I need a photographer who specializes in portrait photography with the ability to capture all the details vividly.

For my first photography session, I picture the sun, sands and beaches; something like those pristine and serene beaches in Miami. That's when I found out about Miami photographer Anais Ganouna. With a clear thought of what I want for our family portrait, I browsed her website with my eagerness to contact her as soon as I can. I was stunned and was left in awe just seeing her portfolio screaming beauty and art with vivid, clear and real emotions.

Before, I wonder how it feels like to see myself in an aesthetic form of photography. Now, I don't have to wonder anymore because I've got my turn with the help of a talented photographer like Anais Ganouna. All I can say is that I'm happy, satisfied and grateful for spending that very moment with my family.
